Soy yo, Fred, el fundador y CEO de Luca + Danni.
Esta semana marca nuestro octavo aniversario y esta época del año es siempre una gran manera de reflexionar sobre todo lo que hemos logrado en ese corto período. La mayoría de ustedes saben que perdí a mi hermano menor (Danny) por el cáncer y su amor por el negocio de fabricación de joyas de nuestra familia me trajo de vuelta a Rhode Island. Empecé en un pequeño rincón de la misma fábrica en la que empezó mi abuelo (¡allá por 1955!) Y a partir de ahí, hemos crecido hasta convertirnos en un equipo de más de 50 personas. Hemos continuado el legado de mi familia de hacer joyas a mano aquí en Rhode Island y contamos con el apoyo de un increíble ecosistema de artesanos, vendedores y artesanos locales. Mantener nuestra producción hecha localmente es una de las bases de lo que Luca + Danni se basa y es una de las cosas que me mantiene en este mismo día. Quiero agradecerles personalmente a todos ustedes por apoyar mi marca y por permitirnos continuar haciendo lo que amamos. También es un buen momento para reflexionar sobre ustedes, la comunidad de personas en las que me inspiro con cada nuevo diseño de producto que creamos. La semana pasada, estaba en el ferry a Long Island y me encontré con una mujer que llevaba varias pulseras de Luca + Danni. Pude presentarle a mis hijos y compartió conmigo todas las pulseras que había comprado y lo que esas piezas significaban para ella. Fue un recordatorio para mí de por qué comencé la marca: cada uno de nosotros está en nuestro propio viaje personal y las joyas que creamos permiten a nuestra comunidad expresar lo que más importa.

I have really enjoyed your jewelry. I happened to run across by chance. The reason I support Lucc and Dani is that I am a cancer warrior. I am going on my eighth year of this journey. Not to bad for someone who was given tbree-six months at initial diagnosis. I do have one request. I really wish you guys carried an x-large size. There are so many that I love but on certain days, especially right after treatment, that I can’t wear my bracelets. Thank you for all you guys do. Iove supporting something that I know in my heart is a worthy cause. God bless you and your family!

I loved your story I too have Lung cancer waiting for results on Jan 30 for results to see if I need surgery I had lung cancer 25 years ago I am on the journey again good luck with your business so sooty about your Brother You will always have him in your ❤️

I love your bracelets. I bought the breast cancer 3 bracelet set as a gift to myself after I finished chemo. I wear it often to remind myself of what I have over come. I added the pink ribbon bracelet to my set this year. Your bracelets allow people to share memories and love. I gave my daughter the cardinal bracelet in memory of her grandmother. I have also received the Momma Bear bracelet from my other daughter, since she always calls me Momma Bear. My husband gave me the dog paw in the heart for Christmas, bc I am a passionate dog lover, dog foster and volunteer for our local rescue. Each time I wear one of these bracelets I just smile and think of the love of my family.
Reading your story it is so obvious why your jewelry holds a special meaning for so many.
