Part of the beauty of Rhode Island lays in its rich and nostalgic jewelry manufacturing history. Earlier this month, we were touring an old factory and noticed a small box of rings in “the vault”. Handcrafted by Clark & Coombs (a jewelry company that began manufacturing rings in 1875!), these amazing rings are a hallmark to a time when jewelry was simply made differently!
The ring features a beautifully cut and polished Owyhee jasper cabochon, which is semi-precious gemstone famous for its beautiful depictions of mountain and desert scenery. The craftsmanship and detail of these rings are stunning and it’s a unique opportunity to own a piece of jewelry history. Quantities are very limited.
